The earliest stained glass window in Cadder is the Chancel window. Installed on 10th Mat 1891 in memory of Alice Holden Gardner (15 March 1878 - 5 December 1885), daughter of John and Alice Gardner (Cawder House). This window was originally in the gable wall above the pulpit prior to the building of the chancel in 1908. In 1908 the six top decorative panles were gifted by the Heritors.
